We are looking for an Account Manager Back Office for our Sales department within our “Home” business unit. The department mainly focuses on the development and sales of tableware, but also other products such as shelves, placemats, etc.

Your day-to-day portfolio will vary from sales administrative support to being involved with project management. The majority of your time will be dedicated to assisting the Sales Team in setting up new clients, sending out quotes and creating and managing contracts. In addition, you will be responsible for administrative tasks such as (but not limited to): processing purchase orders, invoices and managing samples.

You will play a key role in the team and have frequent interactions with colleagues from different departments like Product development, Sourcing and Operations.


For close to 30 years Arovo has been designing and developing homewares products for the largest retail chains in Europe and beyond. Starting with ceramic dinnerware – in which Arovo is now one of the largest suppliers in Europe – Arovo has expanded into kitchenware, home décor, personal care, multimedia, and fashion. What you’ll do

          • Act as the main point of contact in all matters relating to client concerns and needs
          • Stay on top of accounts, making sure they’re receiving services that are within their budget and meeting their needs
          • Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships
          • Handle customer complaints and look for suitable solutions
          • Manage project boards and track deadlines
          • Correct handover of new customers to the Operations teams;
          • Maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals
          • Article and order entry in our ERP system (MS Dynamics, Business Central)
          • Registration and follow up of sales leads;
          • Make price calculations and sales quotations
          • Keep track of sales reports
We get excited if you:
          • Are in possession of a bachelor’s degree
          • Have relevant experience in sales support roles
          • Are able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
          • Have an exceptional eye for detail and are highly analytical
          • Have excellent communication skills (in English and Dutch) to deal with internal and external stakeholders;
          • Are a self-starter who can work with little supervision
          • Possess natural curiosity to understand processes, departments & clients
          • Feel comfortable and thrive in a company that is growing rapidly and where not (yet) all procedures have been laid down ready-made

Bonus points if you:

          • Have experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Business Central)
          • Are familiar with Chinese (business) culture
          • Have experience with our client categories
